Having served St. Paul’s as Priest Associate 2014-17, the Rev. Paul L. Gaston has returned for a second visit as Assisting Priest. In the past decade or so, specializing in limited term ministries and interim assignments, he has served six churches in the Diocese of Ohio. From March 2017 until the appointment of a new Dean in December 2018 he served as Acting Dean of Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland. Just before rejoining the staff at St. Paul’s, he served as interim rector for two years at St. Mark’s Canton. In 2017 he concluded a lengthy academic career as an administrator and professor, most recently at Kent State. He thus brings to St. Paul’s a particular interest in adult Christian formation.
